We are very excited to announce that the Activities team are looking for students to put themselves forwards as a Sports Ambassador. The role will be to ultimately promote Sports across the University and create a sporting culture for the wonderful students we home in the Highlands and Islands. As a Sports Ambassador, you will represent, promote and enhance the positive values of sport and physical activity to both current and prospective students through a range of initiatives  both on and off campus and examples of volunteer tasks you would be partaking in would be;
 

• Working with the HISA Activities team to highlight opportunities across the partnership
• Assisting with Sports Projects within HISA and UHI
• Assisting with HISA Activities social media page
• Plan, deliver and host sporting events across the partnership (online at the moment!)
• Working alongside external partners such as High Life Highland, SSS and Sport Scotland to ensure we are working together to enhance more opportunities for our students

We are looking for students in the following locations:
 

• West Highland College
• Inverness College
• Moray College
• Perth College UHI

Commitment we are looking for:

• The commitment would be between 5-10 hours per week.
• This would be from December - June.
