As part of Black History Month, it is important for us to not just focus on the horrific events that dominate Black history but also to highlight the incredible cultural achievements of the Black community to the world.

Jack Shehata, our fantastic HISA VP for Higher Education, has put together this video presentation on The Wonders of Timbuktu, to explain its origins and showcase how the city was once the cultural and scientific hub across Africa and the wider world.
