New for this academic year, the HISA Advice Service is independent of the University of the Highlands & Islands, so we can offer free and impartial advice to all UHI Students.

As part of the Student Association (HISA), we understand the lives of students and want to help empower you whilst you study. We are here to listen, represent and help you identify your options when you are unsure of what to do next.

We work across all Academic Partners in UHI and our advisors can help with issues such as...

  • Academic Misconduct
  • Disciplinary Hearings
  • Fitness to Practice Matters
  • Professional Practice Advisory Panel
  • Mitigating Circumstances
  • Academic Appeals
  • Complaints
  • University Halls Disciplinary Procedures

We will do our best to offer assistance with any other difficulties you might experience. If we can't help, then we're sure to know someone who can.
