Due to a change in circumstances, our Depute President for Education (Moray), Melissa Carr, has announced that they will be resigning from their position at the Highlands & Islands Students’ Association.

Melissa was first elected in the Spring Elections in 2022 and was then re-elected in the Spring Elections 2023.

We will be recruiting a student intern role at Moray who will work with staff to organise events, and support Clubs, Societies and Student Voice Reps at Moray. You can find out more about this role in emails from your students’ association shortly.

We will also be seeking a new individual for this role in the next Spring Elections in 2024, and nominations will open at the end of January. If you are interested in running for this role, please email hisa@uhi.ac.uk for more information.

We’d like to thank Melissa for their time at the Students’ Association and wish them well in the future.
