Becoming a Student Voice Rep means you’ll be able to develop a load of key skills and get exclusive opportunities that will bump up your CV. Here are just a few:
Become a vital part of Team HISA, helping our local and regional officers to understand what is affecting students right across the partnership
Get the opportunity to represent the views of students and take these views directly to senior staff via Student Voice Rep meetings, and other course-specific meetings that you will be invited to attend
Assist HISA in making decisions and changes that your fellow students want to see.
Take part in HISA’s bespoke training programme, which will give you all the skills and information that you need to excel as a Student Voice Rep.
Get the opportunity to take part in further training and educational opportunities throughout the year, to further develop your portfolio of skills.
Develop and enhance skills in communication, digital interaction, digital literacy, networking, representation, confidence, liberation and equality, and lots more!
As a rep, you’ll also get exclusive opportunities to attend events and activities as a representative of your class, of HISA, and of UHI. You’ll get to network with students and staff from around UHI, across Scotland, and even the rest of the UK. And, by the end of your term, you’ll have built up an impressive portfolio of skills, which will give you the edge on the competition in this challenging job market.
