Find out how to vote in HISA Elections.

Voting will be open from Tuesday, 21st March at 10am till Friday 24th March at 1pm.

Step-by-step guide to voting

1. You will receive an email from HISA with a link to vote
   1. Didn't get your email? Check your junk folder! 
2. Click/tap on the link 
3. When you're on the voting app, click/tap on 'View Manifesto' to find out more on each candidate
4. Then click/tap on each candidate to rank them in order of preference 
   1. You can see the order easily on the right hand side
   2. If you want to clear the order and start again, simply click/tap 'Clear' in the bottom left of the screen
5. Click/tap 'Submit Ballot'
6. You will be taken to the next position (if applicable) to repeat the process
7. At the end of all the candidate votes, you will be redirected to a survey on your experience
8. That's it!

Experiencing difficulties or not received an email?

If you have encountered a problem and been unable to vote, please follow these instructions to register on HISA's website to enable you to vote:

• Click/tap on 'Sign In' found in the top right corner of HISA's website
• Click/tap 'Student Sign In' and sign in with your UHI email address and password
• Complete details requested on the login page and then 'complete registration'
• You will then be taken straight to the voting page, or you can click this link: www.hisa.uhi.ac.uk/vote

Once registered, please email returningofficer@uhi.ac.uk so you can be assigned to vote in the relevant elections.
