Into your sports? Looking for some related volunteering work?

You can do loads, from volunteering with HISA as a Sports Ambassador, working with Scottish Student Sports to taking part in national awards like the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme!

• HISA Sports Ambassadors : HISA are recruiting new Sports Ambassadors now! Are you passionate about sport and would like to create opportunities for other students? This voluntary position could be for you! You'll work with the HISA Activities Team, students and staff to help create a more sporting culture at UHI. Want to find out more? • Sportscotland : Sportscotland are the national agency for sport in Scotland and they have lots of information about volunteering in your local community. Visit their website here to find out more. 

 

• LEAP Sports Scotland : LEAP Sports Scotland (Leadership, Equality and Active Participation in Sports for LGBTI people in Scotland) works for greater inclusion for LGBTI people in sport and against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in a sports context. • Scottish Student Sport : Scottish Student Sport have a wide range of opportunities available to students across a range of sports. Find out more here.

 

• High Life Highland Leadership Programme : High Life Highland's Leadership Programme is open again for applications! This programme is open to young people aged 12 - 25 and is designed to give you valuable leadership skills and experience. Find out more here. 

 

• Scottish Disability Sport : Scottish Disability Sport looks to develop opportunities and improve performance in disability sport for children, athletes and players with a physical, sensory or learning disability in Scotland. Find out more about volunteering with SDS here.
