Finances

 

Managing your groups finances is one of the core duties of a club or society treasurer. 

If you student group charges membership fees, expects to apply for funding, wants to fundraise, or plans onmakinf purchases, you will need to set up a bank account. We will ask for account reports (statements) for review on a quarterly basis.

If your group plans on having financial activity, you will also want to create a budget for the year in additional to budgets for individual activitivies.  The budget should be discussed at meetings and your income and expenses should be reported to our members.
