AGM - Annual General Meeting, where you elect a new committee and report on the student group's activity for the year

EGM - Emergency/Extraordinary General Meeting, a meeting held when you need to elect a new person to the committee due to a vacancy, or if there's other urgent business for the group

Referendum - This is when all the membership vote on a policy or rule change for the group

VC - Virtual Conference, this is the system that the UHI uses to hold classes across multiple classrooms

T&C - terms and conditions, this means rules that are required to be followed for specific things, in this document that usually means for affiliation with HISA, or for access to a grant

Comms - Communications

Student Group - This is the catch all term for clubs and societies

AP - Academic partner, these are the 13 colleges and research institutions that make up the UHI
